  • Very Merry

    Very Merry (December 2019)

A limited edition Christmas ale brewed exclusively for Brakspear pubs over the festive period.

This full bodied bitter has a 6% ABV and accompanies this time of year perfectly with its full and rich flavour. There's only 13 firkins brewed, which equates to 936 pints, so don't delay enjoying a pint of this festival ale.

  • Henley Pale Ale, 3.9%

Henley Pale Ale, 3.9% (AVAILABLE ALL THE TIME)

Due to popular demand, the Bell St Brewery's first pale ale is now available all year round! Henley Pale Ale is an easy drinking, 3.9% ABV ale which is light in colour and has an array of flavours. Brewed using an original recipe with Brambling Cross and Goldings Hops, Henley Pale Ale is an easy drinking pint with enough flavour to keep it interesting.

  • Brakspear Old 4.3%

Brakspear Old 4.3% (AVAILABLE ALL THE TIME)

After being asked by a CAMRA member at the Great British Beer Festival in August 2014, would we ever brew Brakspear old again, we thought why the heck not. It's a 4.3% ABV ale brewed with pale Maris Otter, Crystal and Black malts and Fuggles, Pilgrim and Styrian Goldings hops. It is amber brown in colour and has a rich, caramel taste. Ok, it's no secret, it's Brakspear Special with caramel in it, and it's darn tasty.

BRAKSPEAR SPECIAL, 4.3% (Available all the time!)

We'll be brewing up to four barrels a week, which equates to over 1,100 pints. This beer has been brewed by Brakspear for over 40 years, and we're following the original recipe.

A truly classic English beer that’s golden red in colour with a well balanced aroma and a hint of sweetness. Full bodied, the initial sweetness gives way to a dry hop bitterness.
